PriPara (プリパラ ) is a Japanese arcade game made to replace the Pretty Rhythm arcade machines across Japan. PriTickets were introduced as the new way for players to dress their in-game idols, in which a QR Code (located on one corner of a ticket) containing data for a coord is scanned into the machine. The game play appears to be similar to the Pretty Rhythm games, being a coord collection and rhythm-based game.
You are able to scan in QR codes from one of 4 compatible 3DS games to unlock coords not normally obtainable from PriTickets. PriPara machines used to be able to scan Prism Stones as well, but now the only way to use Pretty Rhythm coords is by using the compatible 3DS game.
PriPara was launched on July 10, 2014. It was developed by Syn Sophia and published by Takara Tomy.
