Janis ( ジャニス Janisu) is the main antagonist of PriPara's third season. She is the younger twin sister of Jewlie and revealed herself after influencing Chili's change in behavior. After the events of the Kami Idol Grand Prix, Janis has replaced Jewlie as the goddess of PriPara.
After the events with Mario and Spiny Bugs Janis temporarily lost her power and so can’t perform her goddess duties. Until her power come back Falulu was chosen by Janis to be her stand in goddess in her place.
Personality[]
Unlike Jewlie, she is a lot more serious as a goddess and tries to maintain order in PriPara. This makes her seem cold and blunt towards idols as she tries to be her ideal image of what a Goddess should be. After meeting Chili and seeing NonSugar's performance during the Divine Idol Grand Prix, she has shown more compassion and respect towards idols, much like Jewlie herself.
Appearance[]
Janis resembles her sister in every way. She has pale skin with sharp, yet sleepy eyes like her sister and Jewlulu. Her feathery eyelashes appear to be thinner and a lavender color. On her forehead is a gold heart surrounded with several tiny gems. Her white hair is extremely long and worn in several sections. Most of her hair is pulled into a large bun with a curly ponytail flowing through it and a braid tied around the bottom to hold it all together. Tucked behind her head are large loops of hair, while her forelocks are thick and reach her chest, held with jewel ornaments.
Opposite to Jewlie, her attire is dark in coloring, being shades of indigo and gold with accents of pink, violet, and shades of blue.
Relationships[]
- Jewlie - Her older twin sister who she seems to have a harsh relationship with. While Jewlie likes her, she doesn't return the sentiment. After knowing the truth about the Goddess System, both of them made up and she was able to sympathize with Jewlie, forming a more closer bond with her.
- Non Manaka - Was shown being able to relate to her due to their matching complex with their older sisters.
- Chili Tsukikawa- Like her older sister, Janis lived in a Rosette Pact which belonged to Chili. Chili really cares about her and listens to her every command. However, after Chili refused to aid Janis's plan to steal the Cyalume Tact, Janis left her. Despite Chili's refusal to cooperate with her, Janis genuinely cares for Chili, as she felt happy when they succeeded in earning their super cyalume coords.
- Falala・A・Larm - She respects her as her "older sister", and refers to her as "Falala-sama."
- Garara・S・Leep - She respects her as her "older sister", and refers to her as "Garara-sama."

Etymology[]
Janis ( ジャニス): In English, it means "God is gracious", which refers to her being a goddess.
