I Became a Divine Idol?! is the 1st episode of the third season of the PriPara anime series and the 90th episode in the series overall. It aired on April 5th, 2016.
Plot[]
To pass a certain important bill, the Meganiis from all PriParas gather in PriPara's general headquarter in PriPari and hold the "Meganii Summit". At the same time in Parajuku, Laala gets to know a girl that's going to have her PriPara debut that day and shows her around.
Summary[]
The episodes starts with Laala, reintroducing PriPara, a place where idols, sing, dance and make friends. She was helping her family in Papa's Pasta but it's time for her to go to PriPara, so her family wished her good luck for as Laala runs to Prism Stone. While so, the Meganiis were having their summit in PriPari and were to discuss about an important subject. Back at Parajuku, Laala saw a girl standing near the entrance door of Prism Stone, looking as if she wants to enter in. The girl saw Laala and felt embarrassed, so she makes her leave until Laala stops her. When stopped, she told her that she wants to enter PriPara because she was inspired to become an idol like the ones she saw on television. The two girls introduced each other and Laala helped her, Chili, make her way to PriPara. Upon entering, Chili was introduced to Kuma, Sophy and Mirei and Laala invited her to watch their show while back at PriPari, the Meganiis are continuing their summit. After the show, Chili was introduced to Sion, Reona and Dorothy and the three performed their own shows, followed by Aromageddon with Gaaruru. After the the performances, Laala and Chili traded Friends Ticket and Chili makes her leave. Suddenly the sky went dark while Meganees says that the system will be updated to the Divine Idol Grand Prix, raining down jewels and transforming the idols' microphones. Laala then notices a flying object and follows it. Upon her arrival, she saw a baby falling down and tries to catch it but was got hit by the baby instead. The baby woke up calling Laala, her "mom", much to Laala's surprise.
