(Boy you all are going to hate me for this)
Veteran event participants know what this usually means....
TEMPLATE TIME! and boy this one is a doozy!
As many of you know, I have you guys use templates as it really REALLY helps when judging becuase we can see everything together and it helps with de-clutter. However I understand users who arn't used to templates usually have trouble so I put together nessesary tutorials. However even I realize that this one is just plain redicilous.
Well might as well spit it out. There are a total of 11 sections in this template
yes....11

This is the biggest template I have created. Thankfully it's not as complicated as you may think.
However I have some good news. For this event, using the template will be completely optional.
Yes you heard me right. Mikitty092393, the template nut job, just said that templates for an event are for optional. However there is more to this then meets the eye.
It does make my job harder becuase it will be a simple text entry form. The pictures and orgnaization REALLY help. So with that being said, if you do use the template you will be granted 2 bonus stars each round you use it in. Meaning the maximum amount of stars you can earn each round will be 15.
Now lets move onto the template tutorial. It's not to tricky.
Tutorial
- First head to the comments and enter source mode which is the brackett button next to the eye button
- Type in { { PCS infobox } } (except for the spaces between the brackets) and return to visual mode (The eye button)
- Click the puzzle peice and click edit
Now you are in the template editing mode which looks like this
There are 3 major sections
- Image: this is where the name of the image file will go
- Imagewidth: type in 150px in every single imagewidth box
- Caption: simply put in the name of whatever you chose with the exception of things that ont have names like the stages.
Now finding the names of the image isn't to tricky. Simply edit source mode or look for the file.
Looking for the file looks like this
Source mode will look like this
Now For this event, users will be required to use the Character boxes for the idol section. You can get the image file name by cicking view source here
Then imput things into the infoboxs' correct spot. It should look like this
So I hope that helps! Once again it will be optional to use a template but there are benefits to using it (plus mikitty will give you a virtual hug)
See you all soon!
